About Platyps
Platyps is an early-access product operated from Bengaluru, India, at Salarpuria Symbiosis, Bannerghatta Main Road, Bengaluru, Karnataka. We're in the process of incorporating and will update these terms with our company details once that's done. By creating an account, you agree to these terms.
Early access
Platyps is early. Things will break, features will change, and occasionally something won't work at all. We build fast and ship often, that's the trade-off you're accepting by being here early. Tell us at hello@platyps.comand we'll usually fix it the same week. We may change or remove features, and we'll give notice before anything changes that affects what you've paid for.
What Platyps does
A workspace for planning, building, testing and deploying software. We turn your idea into a specification and wireframes, produce a coding guide for your coding agent, store and analyse your code, run it in a sandbox, and help you deploy it. We don't write your production code, you bring your own coding agent, and whatever you pay them is between you and them.
Your account
Keep your login secure. Everything under your account is your responsibility, including what your teammates and coding agents do with it. Tell us at hello@platyps.comif you think it's been compromised.
Your content
You own everything you bring or make here, code, specifications, wireframes, data, and whatever your agent produces. We claim no ownership. You give us permission to store, process and display that content to run the service, and to improve Platyps and train our models as described in our Privacy Policy. That permission ends when you delete the content or close your account, except for content already used in training, which can't be pulled back out of a model.
Our platform
The Platyps software, interface and designs are ours. Don't copy, resell, reverse engineer or white-label it. Everything Platyps generates for you is yours to use commercially.
Credits and payment
Access is priced in credits, spent on AI work, sandbox runtime and hosting on our cloud.
- Purchased credits don't expire. Subscription credits renew each billing period.
- Credits have no cash value and can't be transferred or exchanged for money.
- Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel, any time from settings.
- We may change pricing with 10 days' notice. It never affects a period you've already paid for.
- If payment fails, new AI work and sandbox runs pause. Anything already deployed stays live for 10 days.
What you can't build here
Nothing illegal, nothing that infringes someone else's rights, no malware, phishing, spam infrastructure, or anything built to harm people. Don't try to break out of the sandbox, reach other people's environments, mine crypto, or get around credit metering. Break these and we may suspend or close your account. For anything illegal, we act immediately.
AI output comes with no guarantees
Platyps uses AI to produce specifications, wireframes, coding guides and analysis. AI gets things wrong. Review everything before it reaches real users. Sandbox testing and our checks help you catch problems, they don't catch all of them. We don't promise AI output is accurate, secure, or fit for what you're using it for, and similar output may be generated for other people.
Third-party services
You'll connect Platyps to GitHub, cloud providers and whatever APIs your app needs. Those are governed by their terms, not ours.
Your keys
Credentials you add are encrypted and isolated per environment. We don't send them to your coding agent or show them in shared previews. You're responsible for which keys you add and what access you grant them. Don't add a key with more permission than the project needs. See Security.
Availability
We don't promise uptime. This is early access, running on infrastructure we're still growing into.
Ending things
Close your account whenever you like. We can suspend or close yours for breaking these terms or not paying. On closure you have 30 days to export everything, then we delete it.
Liability
Platyps is provided as is, with no warranties beyond what the law requires. We're not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, lost data, or anything arising from AI output you shipped without reviewing. Total liability for any claim is capped at whatever you paid us in the 3 months before it arose, or ₹10,000, whichever is more.
Under 18
Anyone can build on Platyps. If you're under 18, a parent or guardian needs to agree to these terms and be responsible for the account, including anything paid for on it.
Changes
Material changes get an email and 14 days' notice.
Law
Indian law applies. Courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka have jurisdiction.
